This is what I currently do (updated 2025-01-02):

• I contribute data to OpenStreetMap (see profile)
• I contribute data to iNaturalist (see profile)
• I contribute data to MusicBrainz (see profile)
• I have a blog about FLOSS: https://gofloss.wordpress.com/
• I maintain the R packages rinat and osmxml
• I volunteer as a trained instructor and instructor trainer for The Carpentries
• When working at UQ, I teach people how to use Open Source tools to do research, and publish the course material online under a Creative Commons licence.
• I contribute to LibreOffice, mainly in the Quality Assurance space but also in documentation and others. I am currently a volunteer Membership Committee member.

On hold / in the past:

• I volunteer at a community radio and have my own experimental/electronic/commons music podcast: https://studio-dessai.gitlab.io/ (on hold)
• I administer a Riot room about sharing the Commons
