Hi, I'm Pascal aka JumpLink 👋

I'm a full-stack developer from Cuxhaven and a father of three, and I write software for the GNOME desktop and the JavaScript ecosystem, and most of it is open source. My day job pays the bills, so these projects run on evenings and weekends. Your sponsorship turns some of those hours into regular working time.

What you support

  • gjsify: Node.js and Web APIs, a bundler and a CLI for GJS, so npm packages run on GNOME's JavaScript runtime.
  • ts-for-gir: TypeScript type definitions for GTK, GLib and every other GObject Introspection library (@girs/*).
  • Learn6502: a GNOME app for learning 6502 assembly, with an editor, a debugger and a tutorial.
  • New GNOME apps on this stack, released next:
    • Steuererklärung: bookkeeping and tax returns for freelancers in Germany, from receipt to ELSTER.
    • Beifahrer: lets AI agents use your own browser, under rules you set per website.
    • Lotse: a client that drives coding agents over the Agent Client Protocol.

What your money pays for

Time: fixing issues, keeping the type definitions in step with each GNOME release, writing documentation, reviewing contributions and working on new projects.
