Mobilizon is a software for creating collaborative platforms. On Mobilizon, local actors can create groups and publish events, for free and without advertising. Users can search events and groups based on their location, join groups, and participate in events.
Mobilizon has something that GAFAM don't have: import tools and use of standard formats (including ActivityPub for the fediverse), to facilitate event sharing from one website to another.

Launched in 2019 by Framasoft thanks to crowdfunding, Mobilizon project is now run by Kaihuri, also a not for profit french association.
Kaihuri has received financial support from NLNet (https://nlnet.nl/project/Empowering-Mobilizon/), but this is a one-off. Your recurring donations will help to sustain the project and also encourage the team to continue.
