Newpipe

A libre lightweight streaming front-end for Android.

NewPipe has been created with the purpose of getting the original YouTube experience on your smartphone without annoying ads and questionable permissions. It does not use any Google framework libraries, or the YouTube API. It only parses the website in order to gain the information it needs. Therefore this app can be used on devices without Google Services installed. Also, you don't need a YouTube account to use NewPipe, and it's FLOSS.

Announcement

In order to be more transparent about how much money we actually receive (and do not loose in terms of currency converting fees by Stripe or Paypal), we have switched to accepting Euros only.

This should also mean that we see more from your money then before, because the currency conversion of your bank will be taxed with a lower fee (if a fee applies at all), then the one from the payment providers.

Also, as you might have realized, all the donations go towards NewPipe e.V. This change has been necessary for a multitude of reasons, sadly we have not found the time to set up a proper presence on the internet for this "new" association yet. Bear with us. But be rest assured all TeamNewPipe members who could have been argued to be eligible to receive your donated money have voted in favor of this solution, and we will be able to do a lot of great things with the association.
