Hi there,

My name is Furtivex, although in the past I've gone by the alias Thisisu online. I am interested in security and privacy, especially when it comes to the Windows operating system. Although I have since moved on to Linux as of a couple of months ago since writing this post, I still maintain a couple of tools that I wrote in batch / bash since they still come in handy for my day job as a computer tech who primarily works on Windows 11 computers.

The names of the tools are DoesNotBelong and PrivWindoze (Private Windows). Both are free to download and utilize for non-commercial use. DoesNotBelong is a lightweight (3.02MB) and specialized program for additional system scanning that compliments the main antivirus. It helps to identify and delete threats not detected by the main antivirus and is useful if you suspect an infection despite a clean scan result.

PrivWindoze (Private Windows) is a lightweight and specialized program for users who are concerned about their privacy and want a leaner, higher performing installation and experience of Windows 10/11. PrivWindoze removes programs such as OneDrive, Edge, and bloatware from other companies such as HP, Acer, Dell, Sony, Asus, etc..

The tools are designed to run quickly and leave no footprint on the system. There is no advertising, telemetry, of any kind. Even my website does not incorporate ads of any kind. Each tool is about 3MB in size, and deletes itself after run

I am seeking donations because I do not make much money as a computer technician and the additional income would be nice. I feel as though a lot of time and effort was put into these tools, and I hope the results speak for themselves by you giving them a try. I enjoy programming in general, and this is just a hobby, not something I'd want to do full time. But I recall when I first launched these tools, I was easily putting in about 80 hours a week on development. A lot of effort has gone into them.
