What am I working on?

I'm currently working on RefactorFirst, a tool to help Java developers decide what to refactor first.

Who am I?

I'm Jim, and I'm a software developer and consultant at Improving. I lead the Houston Java Users Group and really enjoy learning about Java and helping others learn about Java too.

Why is this sponsorship important? How will the funds be used?

My family and I have been impacted by the February 2021 winter storm in Texas. A pipe froze and burst and caused substantial damage to our home. The funds will be used to help pay repair costs.
