I'm figuring out what happens to forests as the climate changes

I do research that helps us understand how forests may adapt to climate change. This involves answering important questions like "where does pollen go?" and "how far apart can trees be and still have sex?" and "is pollen-mediated gene flow adaptive or maladaptive in lodgepole pine?"
I have a chronic illness and my university supports my accommodations, mainly that I'll take a little longer to finish my PhD. Unfortunately, that support is not financial.
My PhD will take a few more years, but my most of my funding ended in 2017. My current paycheck is approximately $25,000 short of a living wage for my area. Send me your spare cash and I'll do my darndest to save the trees.
